Sarah Palin speaks out for first time on sex scandal allegations against Todd: It's 'b.s.'

Sarah Palin says the big story alleging her husband Todd is embroiled in a sex scandal with a massage therapist is a "big lie."

The former Alaska governor spoke out against the bombshell claims made by the National Enquirer for the first time this week on "The Bob and Mark Morning Show."

She called the allegations "a waste of time" and especially disheartening because many of the claims were coming from those in her
home state.

"Look at this recent b.s. about Todd being all caught up in this prostitution ring in Anchorage," said Palin. "Heck. all they needed to
do was to ask him, 'hey, Todd, have you been hanging out with hookers in Anchorage?"

Earlier this month the Enquirer claimed 36-year-old Shailey Tripp was arrested for maintaining a house of prostitution in March and that cops had confiscated physical evidence that could tie ex-Gov. Sarah Palin's husband to the alleged affair.

The tabloid did not disclose when the alleged rendezvous took place or what evidence was seized by police.

Anchorage cops blasted the tabloid's claims, telling the Daily News on Wednesday it was nothing but "guilt by innuendo."  Police said Tripp was arrested for running an illegitimate massage parlor, but none of the evidence examined by police showed any connection to Palin and that that Palin was never even on their radar.

While Sarah Palin, who is rumored to be considering running for President in 2012, called the sex scandal claims "hurtful, she said her
and Todd were "extremely blessed" and that those who should really be hurt are those struggling with unemployment "or maybe have a sick child or are having health troubles of their own."
