Kim Kardashian's birthday was supposed to be a "huge milestone" for the reality star, but instead, it turned out to be a bigger moment for her mother, Kris Jenner.
While Kim skulked around her 30th birthday party at Tao in Las Vegas lamenting her age on Sunday's episode of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," her 55-year-old mom partied like it was 1999, flirting with gossip blogger Perez Hilton and later doing keg stands with her kids.
"Kim thinks that by the time the clock strikes midnight on her 30th birthday, she's going to turn into a little old troll in a cave," Kim's older sister, Kourtney, 31, said before the big night.
Her sister acceded that her birthday was "freaking" her out, so much so that instead of thanking her friends for getting her countless bouquets of flowers, she asked, "Aren't there any from any boys?"
Speaking of boys, Scott Disick's decision to go to Las Vegas caused a rift in the family because at Kim's last birthday, he happened to shove money down a waiter's throat.
"If Scott's coming, then maybe I don't need to come," Jenner said, hearing that her daughter's baby daddy would be adding "stress" to the event.
It turned out she had nothing to worry about since Disick turned into a seer on the plane to Las Vegas, noting that "Vegas doesn't want anything good for me." He promptly hopped on the first flight back to the Big Apple and into Jenner's good books.
Happy that Kourtney's other half was "policing himself," Jenner, dressed in a sparkly gold top, proceeded to cut a rug with Perez Hilton at Tao.
"What would Bruce say?" the gossip blogger quipped.
"Bruce who!" she laughed.
Khloe noted that her mother was "acting like it's her 30th birthday," which prompted Kourtney to throw her sister a "frat party" to loosen her up. But, apparently, Kim doesn't drink beer and she looked at the keg her sister ordered like it was an alien planet.
That didn't stop her mother from taking her place to do a keg stand, beer flowing out of her mouth as her kids and their friends held her legs up in the air.
"Watching my mom do a keg stand is probably one of the highlights of my entire life," Kourtney said.
But Kim didn't think it was particularly festive.
"I can't even deal with my mom doing a keg stand, like, there are no words," Kim said, shaking her head solemnly.
Though Kim bowed to the peer pressure and did a keg stand of her own -- her mother helping to hold her legs up -- it was not half as impressive as her middle aged mom's acrobatics.
In the words of Disick, "Congrats on the dirty thirty!"
