Us Weekly reports that Sarah Palin's Learning Channel reality series, "Sarah Palin's Alaska," aired its final episode Sunday night. The two-hour episode was originally scheduled to be a season finale, but the report indicates it will be a series finale as well.
In the reality series, Palin, who was also the vice presidential nominee in the failed 2008 Republican presidential campaign of John McCain for president, explores the state she governed from 2006 until her resignation in 2009 with members of her family.
A DVD set of the eight-week series will be released in the spring.
