'Larry King': Mel Gibson - Oksana Grigorieva says she 'stayed too long' (video) -- Appearing with her lawyer, Oksana Grigorieva talked about her relationship with actor Mel Gibson on CNN's Larry King Live Wednesday night. During the interview, Mr. King asked her why she stayed in a relationship with him that she has described as abusive. "I stayed a little too long," she said.

The actor's former girlfriend came into the public's consciousness when recordings, allegedly of actor/director Mel Gibson's voice, emerged of telephone calls where an angry man swears and threatens a woman who is allegedly Ms. Grigorieva. The calls were allegedly made on the same night as a physical assault.
"I forgave him. I gave him last chance. He asked me for a last chance; begged me," Ms. Grigorieva said.
On the night in question, January 6, 2010, according to Ms. Grigorieva, Mel Gibson assaulted her while she was holding their baby in her arms. She said she ran into her son's bedroom and told him to hide. "Mel is crazy," she said she told him. "He's getting really violent."
She said Mel Gibson struck her twice in front of her boy. "He hit me and choked me in front of my son," she said. "He brandished a gun at me. The very following day, he was already apologetic." She claims no alcohol was involved in the alleged incident.
About the recordings, she indicated she used an iPhone app that allows users to record calls. She did it because she did not think she would live through the night and, if she was killed, she wanted to give her mother evidence to prove her murder. She also said she made the recordings, allegedly of Mr. Gibson, to help him face the truth about his behavior and to urge him to get help.
Several times during the interview, Larry King told the audience that Mel Gibson and his representatives were contacted by CNN to make a comment, but they had not heard anything back from them.
Several issues surrounding the alleged incident and other matters related to the relationship are working their way through the courts.
