THE ex-wife of Kara Tointon's Strictly lover told yesterday how he broke her heart.
Artem Chigvintsev won the BBC1 show with former EastEnders beauty Kara - and the couple are dating.
But his American ex Giselle Peacock claimed the Russian is obsessed with "fame and money".
Dancer Giselle, 29, met Artem at a championship in Blackpool in 2003. They wed the next year, but now Giselle believes all he wanted was a green card letting him stay in the States.
She said he dumped her without a word as soon as he won a place on a TV dance show in 2005.

Giselle added: "It was like it instantly went to his head. He disappeared out of my life."
In 2006 Artem made the newspapers when he began a two-year romance with Carrie Ann Inaba, 14 years his senior and a judge on the US version of Strictly.
Yesterday Kara, 27 - who split with Albert Square co-star Joe Swash in May - and 28-year-old Artem cosied up in the snow with The Sun.
The lovebirds checked out their favourite paper as they left Kara's North London home.
Kara said: "Now we're out of the studio it'll be nice to do normal things like the cinema."
