After one of the most bizarre season's of Dancing With the Stars , which culminated with last week's inexplicable ousting of Brandy. Tuesday night's finale proved one and for all that DWTS' fans realize it's not about a star's popularity, rumored vote-padding or even some oddly subversive statement about one political party's power over another, as it should be, DWTS is about the dancing.
With little or no sleep, DWTS' latest victor, actress Jennifer Grey and her dance partner Derek Hough will stop by ABC's Good Morning America andThe View on Wednesday to dance and chat about their experience on the 11th season of DWTS.
During both daytime appearances, Jennifer and Derek will be joined byDWTS runner-up Kyle Massey, his partner Lacey Schwimmer, as well as third-place Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas.
A little bit of DWTS trivia, Tuesday's victory makes professional dancer Derek Hough a champion of another sort, as he is now the only DWTS pro to have won the coveted mirror ball trophy three times. Pros Mark Ballas, Cheryl Burke and Derek's own sister, former DWTS pro/turned country star/turned Burlesque co-star, Julianne Hough are tied for second with two wins each.
DWTS will take a break until it returns with Season 12, until then, be sure and check back for my coverage of Skating With the Stars, which began Monday, November 22. The judges scores from Monday's premiere will be added to viewer votes and judges scores from Monday, November 26's performances and the first star will be eliminated at the end of next Monday's show.
