Often the finest presentations are the ones that overwhelm you, the ones that you have to watch more than once. The amped intensity of any Gears of War recreation at E3 always makes for great theater, and it was never more so than at this year's expo. Through all the loudness and bravado, there was an impressive underlying sense of focus to complement GoW3's unsurprising "Make the whole lot bigger!" approach. The demos, trailers, and fingers-on time were drenched with sufficient testosterone that we had forgotten that Duke Nukem Forever was even coming out this week. And special thanks to Cliffy B for being his common presentable and approachable self.
