What does it take to pack Springwater on a snowy, traffic-ridden night in Nashville? An appearance from international pop sensation and former Nashvillian Ke$ha, apparently.
Rumors swirled for weeks that the "TiK ToK" singer would be filming a music video at the dive bar, but Ke$ha actually came to film part of a documentary for MTV. The shoot hit some of Ke$ha's favorite haunts around Music City, wrapping up at Springwater, where local rock acts Ghostfinger and Party Cannon were set to perform.
Firecrackers went off inside the building upon Ke$ha's arrival, before camera crews entered from the back door, SWAT team style. Despite the fanfare, the pop star strolled in rather calmly, chatted with fans, drank a few Pabst Blue Ribbons and grabbed the microphone only once during Party Cannon's set to holler an expletive-laced request for the audience to "get the party started."
No word on the documentary's release date, but Ke$ha will embark on her first headlining tour this spring. Dubbed the "Get $leazy" tour, it's already sold out.

Plant says he's Bonnaroo-bound
In the interest of keeping things spoiler-free for the big Bonnaroo lineup unveiling Tuesday, we weren't going to mention that Robert Plant let it slip during a concert in D.C. last week that he'd be playing at the Manchester music fest this year (set for June 9-12).
But it seems the 'Roo folks have given Plant's announcement their blessing. Bonnaroo's YouTube page shared a video Thursday wherein Plant talks about performing there in 2008 and says he's "going back again, if I can get that far on this tour."
Plant and his Band of Joy also just wrapped up a two-night stint at Nashville's War Memorial Auditorium. Visit Tennessean.com/music for photos and a review.
