What's wrong with the American man? Sally Forth knows

If you're ever wondering why China, India and other places are starting to trump America when it comes to business, technology and economics, today's episode of "Sally Forth" tells you all you need to know.

Here we see Ted, the milquetoasty spouse to the rather masculine woman who is the long-suffering protagonist of this soggy strip, ruminating on breakfast cereals that reached their peak of popularity in the 1970s. Why Ted can't keep from such thoughts and instead turn his focus to keeping a decent-paying job and making enough money so Sally and their cynical child can enjoy a life of leisure is, simply put, beyond us. C'mon Ted, get with the program!

Let's face it folks, "Boo Berry" (the cereal Ted can't quite remember) did very little for anyone back in 1978 with its near-toxic levels of sugar and artificial chemicals, and it's not going to do much for us today, now that it's no longer available or on store shelves. If only Ted would realize these simple facts and get back to the hard, daily task of earning his keep, our nation wouldn't find itself in the dire straits it's in today.
