Human bones found may belong to Florida missing person

Human bones found in a wooded area of Apopka, Florida on Monday, may be tied to the disappearance of a man and a woman.

Chris George, 29,  has been missing since the police found his white Nissan Xterra on February 12, 2009.  The human bones that were found on Monday and Tuesday where found in the same area that George's vehicle was found.

At 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, authorities asked Rachael George,  Chris' mother to come to the police station.

"I don't even have a glimmer of hope that he's alive," she said. "It's cemented that he's dead."

George is not the only person that the bones may belong to.  They may also belong to Tracy Ocasio, 27,  who also has been missing since 2009.

James Hataway is a person of interest in the disappearance of George and Ocasio, according to police.

Hataway and his friend, Tyler Watters told investigators that they have been searching for George when a officer saw them in the area the afternoon George went missing.  Hataway said that George had crashed his SUV while he was high on drugs.

A couple of months later, surveillance cameras caught Hataway leaving the Florida Tap Room with Ocasio on May 26, 2009, then Ocasio's car was found abandoned several blocks from Hataway's home.  Hataway said Ocasio gave him a ride home and then drove away.

Currently Hataway is in the Seminole County Jail awaiting trial for allegedly trying to strangle and kill another woman from Casselberry, who gave him a ride home in 2008.
