Tom Cruise is making Shia LaBeouf look bad.
Last week, the 48-year-old actor was photographed shooting a scene for "Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol" dangling like Spider-Man outside the world's tallest tower in Dubai.
His rep confirmed to the Daily News that the action star had been rappelling between the 112th and 134th floors of the 160-story spire.
What a difference 24 years makes.
On Monday a photo emerged from the Los Angeles set of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" showing much younger action star Shia LaBeouf appearing to take the easy way out during a similar stunt.

The 24-year-old actor was seen on Monday flanked by two large men and a pretty lady friend (who appears to be co-star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's stunt double) atop a slightly slanted stage upon which a fake set of windows sat.
LaBeouf was then seen sliding down the faux skyscraper windows like a slide at Sesame Place, markers designating where Michael Bay's special effects wizards will later work their magic.
Perhaps the studio did not want to take another risk with LaBeouf, who worked on the last "Transformers" film with a broken hand following an off-set car accident.
Regardless, as an action star, Cruise has LaBeouf beat hands down.
