He may be recently married, but please don't call Harrison Ford a newlywed.
"Me, a newlywed?" Ford, 68, told PEOPLE at a press conference for his new comedy Morning Glory, which finished in the Top Five at the box office this weekend. "Look at me, I'm always wed. We were together for 10 years [before the wedding]. The honeymoon's over!"
Indeed, Ford and Calista Flockhart, 45, began dating in 2002. They finally eloped this past summer, tying the knot in a small ceremony at the Governor's Mansion in Santa Fe, N.M. But Ford says their relationship hasn't changed much at all.
Domestic life, for example, is proceeding as before, with Ford continuing to indulge in his passion for the culinary arts. "I like to cook," he says. "I like to cook, and I like to eat at home."
But he doesn't spend hours slaving over a hot stove. "I like meals in minutes. I like to get it done and eat," he says. "I don't do the red-wine reduction [that takes] all day long."
And what is his specialty? Pizza. "A deep dish," he says. "Thin crust and deep dish."
