Over 50% of Russians trust president, prime minister - poll

Over half of Russians have trust in Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, a pollster said on Saturday.

The survey by Russia's Public Opinion Fund (FOM) said 51% of the polled believe in Medvedev while 58% keep faith with Putin.

The poll also showed 47% of respondents believe in the ruling United Russian party.

Another survey conducted by the Levada Center said some 60% of the polled were ready to support the pro-Kremlin party at elections.

The FOM opinion poll was held on February 12-13, with 3,000 respondents and a margin of error of 3.4%.
